A bit of a chaotic structure

My least favorite of the epic poems I’ve read so far. Still entertaining in its own way, and it’s interesting reading the origins of all sorts of stories and language that I didn’t realize originated from Greek and Roman mythology. But I much prefer a single epic saga to a collection of short stories like this. It sometimes seems wrap up one myth and then weirdly start right into the middle of another one. And sometimes a myth continues on in later passage, while other times the narrative just changes subjects entirely. I was trying to figure out the pattern, but I’m not sure there is one.
